2. Information processed by our tools

All tool processing happens locally on your device using JavaScript. We do not receive, log, analyze or store the content you enter into any tool. The Word & Character Counter saves your current draft in your browser's local storage so it is not lost if you refresh the page; this draft stays on your device and you can delete it at any time by clearing the text box or your browser data. Generated passwords are never saved.

a) Information you give us

When you email or call us, we receive your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you and to improve the Website, and we keep it no longer than necessary for that purpose (normally no more than 24 months).

b) Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and preventing abuse, and are kept for a limited period.
